The Jewish calendar is filled with holidays and traditions that encourage us to reflect on our place in the world, Tikun Olam (Repairing of the World) and the meaning of our lives. None more so than the High Holydays of Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Sukkot. During this time, known as the Days of Awe, Temple Bay Yam gathers together to celebrate in a supportive atmosphere of prayer, singing and community. Temple Bat Yam invites members, non-members and those who are visiting Tahoe to join us at every celebration.
Tickets are not required. Donations are gladly accepted. Times and locations can be found on the Calendar.
All Jewish holidays begin at sunset. Dates specified at this site are for those evenings, so the holiday extends from sunset on the noted date until dusk on the next.
