Book of Remembrance 2023 / 5784
The High Holidays are approaching. Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Friday, September 15th, 2023 and Yom Kippur begins with Kol Nidre on Sunday, September 24th, 2023.
It is time to ensure that the memories of our loved ones endure. One of the ways we do that is by adding their names and memories to the Temple Bat Yam Book of Remembrance (formally known as our Memorial Book). In order to have the book ready for distribution, we ask that you return the form, either by mail or online no later than September 1st .
If you have any questions, email or text Alexis Wagner [email protected] or 530-545-9742
*Covid-19 and Safety Policy:
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is strongly encouraged. This is based in our principle of Pikuach Nefesh – Protecting the Sanctity of Life. It is a strongly held belief in our Jewish tradition that we all take measures to protect the health of others and our community.
- Masks – A well-fitting N or KN95 mask is encouraged for all during indoor moments. This is a required expectation for the unvaccinated.
- If you remain unvaccinated against COVID-19 please also test (home test or PCR) prior to attending an indoor program, service, or event at TBY.
