Learning

It only takes 10 minutes a day to get started on a lifelong journey. Spend 10 minutes a day between this Biennial and the next — and before you know it you’ll have completed 100 hours of Torah study!

B’nai Mitzvah

Our B’nai Mitzvah program is a beautifully orchestrated life cycle event which encompasses both teaching of Hebrew, chanting of blessings and Torah cantillation (the methodology for chanting Torah), and the special relationships created with the teachers, the Rabbi and the students.

Religious School

The Temple Bat Yam Religious School provides the youngest members of our TBY family a firm foundation in Jewish knowledge. From Jewish history and culture, to holidays and traditions and from leadership skills to Jewish pride, we help our young people become Jews with whom we want to share the Earth.

Adult Education

Temple Bat Yam offers adult learning opportunities. Please see the calendar for the most up to date info.

Library

The Dee Miller Meyer Memorial Library is a warm and cozy spot where members and visitors can explore books of Jewish fiction and non-ficton, as well as a collection of children’s books. There are over 1500 books related to areas of interest such as Jewish history, laws. customs holidays, prayer and modern day Israel.
