SUMMARY:Camping Shabbaton TOR/Tahoe Annual Camping Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Camping Shabbaton Sept. 6-8\, 2024 \nOur TOR/Tahoe Camping Retreat has been a significant moment in the year for all 3 of our congregations and is perfect for veteran campers and newbies alike.  It is a time away from the rigamarole of the daily world to engage with Shabbat\, Family\, Community and the Works of Creation!  We are eager to gather around the campfire\, sing together\, engage with Judaism\, and to strengthen our TOR/Tahoe community.\n\nIf you have questions before signing up\, contact your home congregation to learn more.  Know that our campground is less than 2 hrs 15 minutes from all 3 congregations.\n\nCamping Retreat Details:\n\nThe retreat begins Friday September 6th late afternoon and concludes before lunch on Sunday September 8th.\nCost\n\n1st person – $80\n2nd person – $80\n3rd person – $65\nFamilies of 4 or more – $235\n\n\nCampsite is a tent only group site\, cars are parked in a remote lot. Self contained\, single vehicle RVs (campervans\, truck campers) – please speak to your Rabbi\nWe love our furry friends. For the integrity of our weekend\, animals are not welcome on this trip.\n\n\nThe campground allows for 125 souls\, so our registration will be capped at that number.  Register early and buy your tickets! \nTo those who would like to go up a day early (Thursday) or earlier on Friday can do so\, contact your Rabbi for details. \n\nIf you have any questions or want to discuss scholarship opportunities\, please contact Mary Frank at Temple Or Rishon mary.frank@orrishon.org or Alicia Phillips at the Tahoe congregations – alicia@tbytahoe.org.  \n\nSupport Scholarships & The Program:  This wonderful annual program does come with a cost and a couple of our temple families are honored to underwrite some of the cost.  If you are interested/able to support scholarships or help donate to support the program\, we welcome all contributions.  *If you are interested in a contribution to secure future years\, please speak to one of the Rabbis. \n  \nCancellations/Refunds:  We know that things come up and change.  Please be in touch with your Rabbi or congregational contact if you have questions about the cancellation/refund policy.  There is a lot of pre-planning and pre-purchasing that goes into the camping weekend.  If you cancel before August 1\, 2024\, you will receive a full refund.  Cancellations after August 1\, 2024 will receive a 75% refund.  Cancellations after August 30\, 2024 or no show at the event will not receive a refund.  \n
