Torah Study- Special Edition: Purim Study

Join Rabbi Evon to dive deep into the Purim story.  This year, we’ll look at this tale of Esther and her uncle Mordecai through the lens of our moment in history.  As the Jewish people wrestles with the tenuous balance between particularism and universalism, we may see an example given to us by Esther, by Mordechai and our ancestors who preserved the Scroll of Esther.  Purim gives us the chance to turn the world upside down, at least in theory.  It is a moment in the year in which we engage in silliness, merriment, and community.  This year, our joy is a bit different, yet still commanded of us…  So, bring your lunch, your creative reading skills, and an open heart/mind.  Thursday March 21st 1230-130p at TBY.
