Shabbat Shira – Our Sabbath of Song
February 3, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Shabbat Shira is the special name given to the Shabbat that shares the Torah Portion BeShallach, which contains the Song of the Sea (Mi Chamocha). For the last decade (with a bit of a COVID break), TBY has celebrated this special Shabbat with members from our congregation sharing their music (instruments, vocals, clapping) as the TBY band – all welcome to join regardless of ability and experience.
Shabbat will be welcomed at 6:30pm on Friday February 3, 2023 and the musical service will be led by our TBY Band along with Student Rabbi Shira and Rabbi Evon.
We will be treated to a hearty oneg with light appetizers and desserts following the service.
