TJC’s Mountain Judaism Shabbat
April 20 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
We will welcome Spring back to Tahoe as our Tahoe Jewish Community begins to embrace or Festival of Freedom – Pesach. On this Shabbat morning walk, we will make our way towards Sand Harbor State Park along the Tahoe East Shore Trail. Our time together will be filled with embracing the Gem of Creation surrounding us and discussions connected to the wandering of our ancestors. We will reflect on the meaning of Shabbat, enjoy a brief (<25 minute) service, and spiritually prepare for the approaching seders in our Tahoe Jewish Community congregations of Temple Bat Yam and North Tahoe Hebrew Congregation. We begin and end on the East Shore Trail at Tunnel Creek Cafe at 10am and return by 1pm and likely not make it all the way to Sand Harbor. You can park at Ponderosa Ranch Road Parking – there is a fee. This pin>>> is where we’ll meet.
