Riding Chai is TBY's annual Sukkot Mountain Biking Fundraiser and BBQ.

Riding Chai is an opporutnity for members of Temple Bat Yam to share their time, energy and efforts in any or all of the following ways:

1) Commit to ride (register by clicking the Register button on this page) as a Team TBY (a few different group levels) for a 3 hour bike ride from Temple Bat Yam. In committing to ride, we also commit to raise pledge funds from friends, family and community of at least $180. We aim to ride 18 miles that morning and ask for pledges per mile.

2) Join in our lunch Sukkot BBQ celebration at Temple Bat Yam. Bring an appetite and energy for socializing as a community.

3) Agree to volunteer to set-up the BBQ and participate as well!

4) Show up at the end of the BBQ for a short and meaningful Sukkot service and rituals with the Lulav & Etrog while sitting in the Sukkah.

8am - Riders Report to TBY for Breakfast

8:30am - The Ride Begins

11:30am-12pm - Riders Return to TBY

12:30pm - Sukkot BBQ

1:30pm - Sukkot Celebration

Riders under 21 years of age who receive pledges of $180 or more - will get a rented MTB for the ride, must contact Team TBY Chair Craig Schorr or Rabbi Evon by October 4th at 5pm and verify pledges.
 
Families with children under 5 that receive pledges of $180 or more can contact Team TBY Chair Craig Schorr or Rabbi Evon by Wednesday October 4th to secure babysitting and programming at the Temple for their child/ren. Ride for parents utilizing babysitting will start at 9am and run until 12pm.
